I created this Dinosaur Coloring Page just for fun for my kids this summer, but it got me thinking about lesson ideas for the upcoming school year! I now think I need to create a book and several worksheets about dinosaurs! Just a few weeks ago we had the opportunity to take our girls to The Quarry in Vernal, UT which had a TON of dinosaur fossils along a mountainside. They wore matching Dino outfits (they both really love dinosaurs) and they got to do the Junior Ranger packet and earn a badge. It would be really great for us to expand on that and spend a few days learning more about the different types of dinosaurs.
